Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IHI Turbocharger Information

Author: Internet Brands

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is the next big target for IHI Turbo America and their RHF Turbocharger series. While not the most well known brand among the import tuner market, IHI Turbo America has made a great name for themselves in the diesel truck market and the introduction of the RHF series.

IHI Turbo primarily did business with manufacturers, designing popular applications for vehicles like the early Ford diesel trucks. Their new RHE series will continue to carry the torch on larger displacement trucks, while their innovative turbine bearing design will surely help them flourish in the tuner market.

RHF turbochargers are not IHI Turbo’s first entry. In past years, companies like APEXi have used IHI Turbochargers, but with no mention of turbocharger options on the APEXi site and a nice collection of information about the RHF and RHE turbochargers on the IHI site, we could see an IHI-marketed turbocharger option for the Mitsubishi Evo in the upcoming months.
