What oil/ filter should I use?
Mitsubishi requires Mobile 1 Synthetic oil for the Evo.  You can use 10W-30 (Warm) or 5W-30 (Cold) depending on your climate.  The stock oil filter is just fine and should help avoid any fitment issues that some aftermarket filters have.

Is my warranty voided if I modify my engine?
The Magnuson Moss Warranty Act states that an aftermarket part has to be specifically designated as the cause for the problem of which warranty repairs are being requested.  Some dealerships will still hassle you and cause problems, so please take that into consideration. When do I need to upgrade my fuel pump?
Light mods do not require a fuel pump upgrade, but after a full exhaust, engine management, and cams, a fuel pump should be installed for added insurance.  A number of modded Evos have experienced failures at similar modification levels and the standard is now to upgrade just in case.

When do I need to upgrade my injectors?
