Project Evo @ VIR
by: Ali Allage

October 19, 2006 - I know, not your typical part review, but I wanted to try something new. It’s always nice to see something different and out of the normal routine. This is the first part of what will be many more articles to come about my personal path to obtain my license in order to enter into NASA Time Attack series. The car of choice is the project evo, obviously. With all the part reviews we do with this car, it has everything needed to be a good track car and a serious competitor. click here...

WORKS
As the very first EVO tuner in North America, WORKS is Mitsubishi’s premier tuner. Designing with OEM integrity, we offer a Factory-matched warranty and are recognized as the Tuner of choice by Mitsubishi Motors dealers and employees. From mild street cars to wild race cars we do it all. Our talents include product engineering to race car fabrication. Our technology comes from racing our Time Attack winning race car and Nationally campaigned SCCA, NASA US Touring cars where we prototype and test the limits of WORKS products. We employ engineers in-house to properly test and design components for a highly engineered automobile. That is how we have successfully partnered up with Ohlins and Cosworth. We are very innovative having had others copy products we invented such as the ECU flash, throttle body, and resonated test pipe . Dedicated to one platform and concentrating all of our energies into one vehicle makes us experts instead of trying to tune different makes and models. We are passionate EVO owners ourselves, driving them daily and racing them on the weekends around Northern California. To further our WRP (WORKS Racing Program) we will be relocating to our new facility at Sears Point/Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, CA near Napa Valley. We hope to see you there!
